McWane Your Brain

That's the slogan for our local Children's Science Museum. Catherine had been several times before (remember Curious George), but Mom had never been. So, in an effort to escape this oppressive heat, we went for a family visit today.

The special exhibit this month was all about Mr. Potato Head. Catherine had fun designing hers...

Finished product...maybe we need one of these for home!

Among the permanent exhibits was the giant Brite Lite
She enjoyed the visual effects with Daddy (though she seemed a little confused...me, too!)
Catherine spent what seemed like hours scooping water from one container to another (her FAVORITE backyard and bath-time pastime)

We think she shares her parents' love for dinosaurs

All in all, it was a great escape-from-the-heat day.
