The Zoo

Today was a perfect day for a trip to the zoo. Mommy and Daddy were both off of work, and the morning wasn't too terribly hot. Catherine really loved the animals--it is amazing how much more she was into the experience compared to a few short months ago. She would squeal when she saw them. If she knew their sounds, she would say them ("hiss," "roar," "ooh-ohh"). It was a GREAT time with lots of family fun.

We started the day off right with a ride on the Carousel. Catherine liked it so much, she cried when the ride was over.

The best part was watching her in front of the bobcat exhibit. The would crawl right up to the window...just watch and listen.


We ended the day with a train ride, "toot, toot!"
