We hope your Christmas was as wonderful as ours.
Ours started with Catherine SLEEPING IN, but upon awakening, she ran to see what Santa had brought her.
After breakfast, Catherine literally DOVE into her pile of presents.
She would unwrap just one gift at time and then stop to play. By evening, there were still 5 or 6 presents that she had little interest in getting to.
The raincoat, boots, and umbrella from Grandmom were especially a hit. She wore them the rest of the day.
But the gift that stole the show was "Lucy," the robotic/mechanical cat from Grandpa and Vikki. She barely looked at the camera again because she was too busy talking to the cat trying to convince Lucy to look at the camera.
And a Merry Christmas came to Mom and Dad in the form of the little, three-letter word "why." Up to this point we have had lots of "What's that?," "Where'd he go?," and "What is he doing?" But she never asked, "Why?" Nor could she answer the question, "Why?" Well today, I quit counting when we hit 30 "whys" before lunch! Merry Christmas, parents!
It was a wonderful Christmas, full of fantastic and fun-filled memories.
