2 month check-up

We went to the pediatrician earlier this week for Catherine's two-month check-up, and she received a glowing report. She is up to 13 pounds and 24 1/4 inches. Still in the 90+ percentile. Before we left, she had to get 4 immunization shots. Poor thing, with the first needle stick, she just looked at me with these shocked and startled eyes, and over the next 4-5 seconds made this terrible sad face before the screaming finally started. The first wail lasted so long that I wasn't sure she was ever going to take a breath! Fortunately, the injections were over in a flash, and she was easily consoled after that. And to think, we have to do it all over again in 2 months!
