Our visit with Jim and Bets was wonderful. We had good food, good conversation, and lots of good times, too. Catherine participated in all kinds of Driscoll family traditions, too.

Watching a little video while the grown-ups finish dinner. Kids find comfort in the oddest positions! (Here, she kept trying to sit on the edge of the couch but always appeared on the verge of toppling backwards, so we asked her stop climbing up on the sofa...this odd prone position was her creative way of getting closer to the screen without sitting up on the couch.)
Sitting with Great Grandma Bets while Great Grandpa and Daddy raise the "grandchildren are visiting" carp windsock early Saturday morning. Catherine really wanted to wear her "glasses" this particular morning.
Sliding at the playground. All the sliding practice at home is paying off! She went down these 4 foot slides by herself. She also tackled the 8+ foot, 360 degree corkscrew slide multiple times with gusto, but since it took one parent to walk her to the top and another to catch at the bottom, we are missing pictures of that display of bravery.

Getting measured for the infamous Driscoll Door. For last year's event, look here. She took this job very seriously and enjoyed standing up straight for her official measurement.
Watching the ceremonial winding of the clock. From this moment forward, when it chimed every fifteen minutes, Catherine would look up, and walk over to the clock and watch it while saying "clock, tic-toc."
