Beach in the Backyard

Since Catherine loved the sand and surf so much, we decided to bring a little bit of the beach home. This contraption is bound to provide hours of entertainment. Catherine will stand for over a hour digging in and sifting though the sand, pouring sand in the water, pushing the boats around the canal and then stacking them in the water tower. When she is finally ready to come inside, she requires a change of outfit, because she is covered from head-to-toe in a wet and sandy slurry! Here are some pictures from her first time with the "Sand and Surf Play Table, " though it has become a daily attraction.
