Aunt Allison did us the favor of coming down to visit this weekend and babysitting Catherine on Saturday night. They had a grand ole time. Catherine was so excited to have Allison here that she skipped her afternoon nap. Then, as Allison was reading bedtime stories and singing lullabies to Catherine before bed (our nightly routine), Catherine sat up and pointed to the door and clearly said, "out." Stunned, Allison kept rocking until Catherine did it a second time! Wow! That kid sure knows what she wants. (Speaking of knowing what she wants, tonight she pointed to the fruit bowl on the counter and asked for a "banana!")
Allison and Catherine spent a lot of time making pillow forts. First on Mommy and Daddy's bed, and then with the sofa cushions. What fun!
